Sadness & Sorrow

Poetry

Why don’t I want to see the sun anymore?
Why does a laugh turn so quickly into mourn?
I’m so lost without you, when I shouldn’t be
But you abruptly left me here; there was never time for plan b
I suffer in silence as you deal with the daily agony
I’ll put on my happy face, so no one will see
Comforting others is what I was made to be
The pain I feel always
