HELLO TO MY READERS ! 📰

⚡ Threads, the new app unveiled by Meta on Wednesday, is designed to complement Instagram, the popular photo-sharing network acquired by Mark Zuckerberg’s company over a decade ago. Instagram executives aim for Threads to potentially rival Twitter, earning it the nickname of a ‘Twitter killer’ among tech enthusiasts.

⚡ The launch of Threads escalates the competition between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, who acquired Twitter last year. Musk has made alterations to Twitter’s algorithm and introduced new features, including recent temporary limits on the number of tweets users can read, which caused significant controversy.

🛰️ Musk’s decision didn’t scare Mark; instead, he was really happy with the new project and seemed pleasantly surprised by the high level of activity it generated.

🦄 Threads bears a striking resemblance to Twitter in several aspects. Users can share predominantly text-based messages on a scrolling feed, allowing their followers and those they follow to engage in conversations. People have the option to share photos or videos within the app.

🦄 But Threads has some differences compared to Twitter. It currently doesn’t have direct messaging, a feature that Twitter offers. Instagram has mentioned that they might add more features to Threads based on user feedback.

📌 Meta understands the great possibilities of Web3 and is working on creating a metaverse that combines blockchain technology, virtual and augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. The metaverse is like a virtual world where people can interact with each other and the digital environment. It’s considered the next big thing on the internet, offering a more immersive and interactive digital experience

📍 WhiteBIT, for example, is also taking very big and successful steps in WEB3 Which is one of the largest crypto exchanges in Europe.

🌐 Recently, they announced the launch of their own New Network and WB Soul.

📎 WB Soul is your digital representation on our blockchain, much like an ID that any WhiteBIT user with KYC can create.

🚀 Soulbound Tokens are special assets linked to a particular Soul on the WB Network. They cannot be sold or transferred, as they are permanently tied to the WB Soul they were created for. These tokens can be earned as achievements, rewards, event passes, and more. Typically, Soulbound Tokens are part of a collection.

🚀 To Sum Up, companies are actively embracing Web 3 and building their own ecosystems. During my research, I found out that WhiteBIT has also joined this new social network. You can find the link here ⬇️
