Every waking hour moves like a spinning coin. You walk through a path just like everyone else, yet you always feel like you’re running out of time. Always chasing something. Trying to get somewhere.
A pendulum that swings back and forth. You stare at it for as long as you can and when the hourglass mocks you, voices around you speak of foul truth.
These voices ask countless questions and they all start with the word ‘When…?’ You feel your heart jump out of your chest as you lament on your existence. When are you getting married? When are you getting a job? When are you having kids?
They all seem to be simple questions but to some, a huge boulder comes running down from a hill to hit the person right at their face. Would it be better or worse if time were an illusion? No. Can one imagine feeling secure when time became infinite?
As a caterpillar blooms into different shades of vibrant hues, we too, are transforming. We fall. We grow. We rise. Time is beautiful. There is a chance to heal and improve wherever the clock takes us. Hence, take this time to take in the imperfection of life and convert it into a myriad of dreams and aspirations.
