We all know about the golden 21-day rule; if we persist in doing something for this duration, our mind becomes inclined to continue, turning it into a habit.

Inspired, I decided to embark on a 21-day yoga challenge.

Through this experience, my most significant realization is that completing a 21-day challenge doesn’t have to be a continuous 21 days.

Yes, you heard it right. When I used to undertake challenges before, my mindset was fixed on accomplishing them in a straight 21-day sequence without any breaks. However, life is full of ups and downs, and breaks are a natural part of this journey.

I began my yoga challenge on October 17th with great enthusiasm, but it encountered interruptions along the way. Not everything goes as planned, and that’s okay. The real trick lies in the ability to sustain. Today, on November 21st, I successfully completed my 21-day challenge, and I am genuinely proud. Even though it took a few extra days, I can confidently say that I did it. I am committed to continuing this practice.

In the past, if a challenge had breaks of 2 or three days, my mind would discourage me, but with this yoga challenge, which took a bit longer, I feel a profound sense of pride. I am certain that I will persist with this for the long term.

Now, I’m gearing up for my next challenge – a 21-day commitment, extending the journey.

The trick I want to share with you to conquer your challenges is simple: embrace the breaks. Understand that breaks are a natural part of the challenge. Whether it’s a gap of 3 days or 4days, it’s entirely fine.

Complete those crucial 21 days and gracefully move on to the next challenge.

Conquer the 21-day challenge with resilience; whether the path is straight or winding, completion is a testament to your commitment and inner strength.
