Love as You Continue to Live
Giving love freely, and it will return unto you.
Love comes in different sizes and feels
Should we even decide on a label or name?
We write about love in novels and poems, or
Cards and movies from Hallmark fame
Some think of love as only in romance
Or even at times in the bed, we make
Also, there is the love of our friends
And even our family, a bit of give and take.
There is love of our God or gods
Loyalty so doth ring true.
When we lose any kind of love
Our hearts and spirits turn blue.
A parent’s love is sure and differs so much.
Yes, your pop encourages you greatly,
Your mom holds you close to her bosom,
And your siblings, have you thought of them lately?
Teammates at work, your allies for sure.
Church family, and folks you call when you need.
Even strangers you will never see again.
They ache for love. Will you plant a seed?
