Overcome Your Uncertainty With Hope

On two sides of the same coin with the other side being Hope.

Uncertainty is on one side of the coin. What many of us miss is the other side of the coin. Hope.

Neither shows us the outcome. But when thinking about the unknown result in front of us, some lean heavily on Uncertainty, and others go all in on Hope.

Faith is a muscle. We should exercise it often.

I know, I know…I say the same thing about Love.

Wait until I get to Happy (it, too, can be a muscle).

But back to Uncertainty and Hope.

Uncertain can be worrisome, doubtful, and without confidence. Uncertain has little comfort when we feel its weight. Not a lot of good feelings come from worry or doubt.

Hope, on the flip side, can be faithful, optimistic, and confident. Hope is anticipatory and helps lift our burden a bit. Good feelings come from confidence and optimism.

Neither gives us a clear picture of the future outcome.

With one comes stress and worry. With the other comes desire and prospect. Which do you choose? Uncertainty? Or Hopeful?

If we flip this coin in the air, I know I’m calling (and leaning) on Hope.
