Technology and the Female IT Workforce
The tech industry has been a driving force in the global economy, and its influence continues to expand. However, the gender gap within this sector remains a challenge. The Future of Women in Tech Summit aims to address this issue by showcasing how diversity boosts innovation, giving tips from the very top women IT leaders, and fostering a community that empowers female tech professionals.
πͺ At Santander, we are committed to diversity. With technology teams where women represent the 30%, a number above the market average, we still have some work to do and we believe we are on the right direction. We have set βWomen in Techβ programmes with global impact in Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom, aiming to empower and support women on their tech journeys.
Join us on October 19th as we celebrate the past, present, and future of women in tech. Together, we will illuminate the path to a more inclusive, innovative, and prosperous future for all.
