7 Rules to Follow to Hack Your Life & Be Happy

Life comes with diverse experience, success, failures & learning for all. Some might excel, and some might fail. Wouldn’t it be amazing to know do’s & don’ts in life?

Here’s what you should & shouldn’t do if you want to stay happy & stay smiling at the same time:

1. Never Forget your Roots

No matter what you’ve achieved in your life, being grateful is a must. Holding on to people who helped you in tough times is a sign of greatness, and people respect that. Upholding your values while you climb up in life is rare & uncommon these days.

People these days believe in stabbing the person and leading ahead. It’s unfortunate how some people become so shallow after achieving everything they wanted. Instead of appreciating the person, they disregard them!

How to manage these sorts of people? Don’t give importance to them. Let karma handle, but before that, just let them know how you feel about them.

It’s unfortunate to live in an era where people use other people for personal benefit. My heart weeps to see this act of tyranny. Many people have turned into diplomats and pretend to defend their stand if their motive is doubted.

Only people with high value and respect for others can stand tall against all the odds — the rest of them doomed to become crooks.

2. Stay Humble & Focused

It’s inspiring to see people with humility. It lit me up with joy. Usually, in success, people become arrogant and hostile towards other people. Continuously get a fact check and reflect on your actions and decisions. This will help you analyze your response to the situation.

Having a calm attitude is essential to stay well-defined, easy to talk to, and friendly.

Focus comes with discipline. If you can manage your psyche and body, you can direct your attention in the right direction. It all begins within us; if we think we can achieve it, then we will! If you feed the opposing, the results will be negative. Be mindful of what you serve your brain, and it will work with you or against you; the choice is yours!

3. Give Credit Where It’s Due

What this phrase means is to praise someone who deserves the applaud. The exploitation of workers for the number of hours they work than their pay undermines their actual worth. Corporate & big industries often do this to increase their profitability. Isn’t this barbaric?

How will this impact a company? Staff & workers are the core of the business if they remain not credited with appreciation or salary. They will start complaining, be annoyed by the job, and productivity will start to go down. Is this good for business? No. That’s why one needs to appreciate people for doing you any help or favor; giving credit is a must.

4. Appreciate & Compliment Often

To appreciate is to express gratitude, and to compliment is to praise. Both are free, and one should adopt a habit of doing this. What effects will it have? Positive. How? When you start complimenting, people like it and want to be around you and spend time with you. Giving compliments trait often attracts the majority of people.

5. Improvise on Your Skills

Don’t let a single minute go in vain. Make use of the time you can afford to learn, grow & adapt. Outsmart your old self, challenge its ability to beat oneself in the present. Push yourself to limit and test your endurance. These constant habits will help you shape yourself and stand tall against the darkness & be unique.

6. Stay Fit Mentally & Physically

To build a healthy mind and body, you need to start from scratch and focus on building a routine. What does it do? It rewires your brain and sends a signal of its effect in the long run and makes it the center to control & execute.

Fitness, followed by disciplined routines & exercise, will have positive effects. Be strict on your training, sleep, and diet. Fitness gurus usually bet big on food as it supports growth 75% and rests 25% is exercise & sleep. Knowing when to eat & what to eat is vital in bodybuilding.

7. Develop Meaningful Connection and Nurture Them

Having a companion, best friend, or a business relationship is excellent. Be true to your emotion and take care of them. Instincts often lead us to happiness, and all you got to do is be authentic to yourself and others around you.

Things to keep in mind when building connections -

  • Do not lie.
  • Do not pretend.
  • Be Authentic.
  • Have practical expectations.

Takeaway

My ability to express myself in life comes with experiencing both failure and success. Living a meaningful life and having a purpose is the future goal. My current state is neutral (Peaceful). I love it there as it gives me a sense of awareness and wisdom to interpret the issue from a distance.

Learning from past events and not repeating a mistake is great, but learning from people’s mistakes is a sort of gift. A person who master's these skills can shape his or her future and set their fate.
