Have you been thinking that maybe you are a drama queen? Sometimes we don’t realize our own negative traits meanwhile it’s so easy for others to see it.

I remember back in college I didn’t have many friends around me. I used to think that happened because I was busy with my part-time job — which could be true. But later when I got older, I realized it was on me that I was such a drama queen who took almost everything personally.

As a result, lots of my classmates couldn’t bear this behavior of mine. It took me too long to admit it — because trust me, calling out our own flaws isn’t easy. But I knew I had to change if I wanted to live a better life.

I’m saying a better life because being a drama queen not only can affect your relationships with others but it can also change the way you see yourself. That’s why it’s no surprise when you hear people say people who like to engage in drama also have the tendency to be narcissistic and entitled.

I’m sure you don’t want to be those types of people. So being aware of this thing can help you analyze and eventually take the first step to improve it.
