You have to know exactly what you are gonna do every minute and the reason for this is that it eliminates all the other infinite possibilities. If you don’t know exactly what you want then you will be carried by your biological desires.

Do you wanna live your life on biological desires? Well then go on eating Cheetos and watching porn every day.

We live in a time where everything is instantly available.

You’re not your own slave you wanna be content with your soul.

Look inside and discover your values. The main benefit of knowing your values is that you will gain tremendous clarity and focus, but ultimately you must use that newfound clarity to make consistent decisions and take committed action. So the whole point of discovering your values is to improve the results you get in those areas that are truly most important to you.

If we all had infinite time, then values would be irrelevant. The first reason is that time is our most limited resource; time does not renew itself. Once we spend a day, it’s gone forever. Values act as our compass to put back to the course every day and to the best life that we could possibly live.

To go somewhere with the map you have to specify the place. You can’t go everywhere or you’ll be all over the place. There is a lot of things you could be doing. The world is very complicated there is just way too many choices to handle.

When you place a value structure — You delimit the complexity to a single option that which you value most at the time.

That's why the chicken crosses the road because it thinks the other side is better.

Get rid of all the choices. Ok, I’m going there and I don’t have to go to all the other billions of places I could go.

The way the world manifests itself is dependent on what you value. Then the question is: What do you value? and that is the question man.
