BEAM Weekly Gig Session — Week #37

Hey there, ho there, hi there! — That ’70s Show — Fox

Hey there, ho there, hi there!

You may not believe us, but we have news about BEAM: Good news, and great news!

Shall we go to our weekly Gig? Maestro, music!

So what are we going to talk about today? We will speak about the release of the code, about our Testnet, some important events we took part of, and about how our marketing force is getting stronger day-after-day.

Technology is, what technology does!

So we’ve released our code. Did you catch that? Yes, we’ve released our code and it’s now public. Want to check it, taste it, challenge it? No problem, this is where you will be able to get it:

And if you’re a really nice person (which we don’t doubt a single minute), please have a look on our forum, and let us know all what you think, feel and love about our code.

And did we mention we’ve launched a forum? God, being senile at the age of 41 is quite embarrassing. Anyway, here are some other important statuses when it comes to BEAM Technology news:

  • Fully functional wallet with key generator and storage supporting secure and confidential online transactions.
  • Full node with both transaction and block validation and full UTXO state management.
  • Equihash miner with periodic mining difficulty adjustment.
  • Batch Bulletproofs, the efficient non-interactive zero-knowledge range proofs now in batch mode
  • Graphical Wallet Application for Linux, Mac and Windows platforms
  • Offline transactions using Secure BBS system
  • ChainWork — sublinear blockchain validation, based on Benedikt Bünz FlyClient idea
  • Compact history using cut through

BEAM Execs rock!

ZZ Top

It has been a quite busy week for our Execs at BEAM, with no less than three events we took part in during the Berlin Blockchain Week when our CEO Alexander Zaidelson gave a keynote at the prestigious Dezentral Berlin.

Our talented Vladislav Gelfer, BEAM’s core Dev has amazed the audience at the Zero-K Proof Summit.

Did you miss these events because your grand’ma died for the 4th time or your dog ate your train ticket? No issue, this is where you will be able to get our Execs’ pres and get to know BEAM from inside.

Connor O’Higgins aka Connor McGregor — BEAM Ambassador in Dublin

Busy week in Berlin, we said? Yes, but we were also busy in Dublin for our first Irish Meetup where more than 20 early bidders had the chance to meet the almighty Conor (not the McGregor) O’Higgins who presented BEAM together with our CTO, Alex Romanov. Pictures? Yes sir! Here they are!

And now, to the great Joshua, our first Ambassador from the amazing continent which of Africa. Joshua is from Nigeria and will be having his first meetup in the city of Port Harcourt on Sept. 15th 2018.
