Beamswap announces Beamchef V3 upgrade, calls for pool migration

The new smart contract upgrade brings several benefits, requiring users to migrate assets to new Farm pools for new rewards.

BeamChef V3 Smart Contract Update

The newly improved and upgraded BeamChef V3 smart contract introduces several benefits for an optimized trading experience on Beamswap:

• Gas improvement leads to lower transaction costs
• Improved stGLINT rate management allows for individual control of stGLINT rates
• Added support for the recently-launched Yield Booster and the upcoming Yield Booster Marketplace further increases potential rewards
• The new use case for stGLINT expands its utility on the Beamswap platform

Asset migration needed

With the latest BeamChef V3 upgrade, emissions for old farms will be turned off today, Thursday, February 29, at 9:30 am UTC, and new farms will go live the same day at 10:15 am UTC.

This means that all users holding assets in Beamswap Farms should migrate from previous to new Farm pools.

Here is how to do it step-by-step. 👇

Go to the Beamswap platform, connect your wallet, and click Yield in the top menu.

Next, switch to the Deprecated V3 tab, click “MigrateAll” to migrate from the old farm to the new one in one click, and confirm the action in your wallet.

In seconds, you will have migrated your assets to the new Farm pools, ready to earn new rewards.
