We’re always working hard on perfecting the Beamswap platform, and certain things cannot be done without collaboration and integration of tried and tested solutions.
In October, we’re proud to have established some crucial partnerships with key players in the Web3 world to bring new and improved solutions and features to Beamswap users.
🟣 Subsquid
First, we announced the strategic partnership with Subsquid, the leading API framework supporting Web3 apps across more than 30 chains and providing various essential features.
In this collaboration, Subsquid became the critical partner in helping the Beamswap Trading Competition to launch successfully and perform fairly.
🟣 Axelar
Among the most notable partnerships was Axelar Network. Thanks to its cross-chain abilities, we’ve expanded the list of tradeable assets on Beamswap, enhance the user experience, and help improve cross-chain transactions.

🟣 Squid
We amplified the strength of the Axelar partnership by further collaborating with Squid, the cross-chain swap and liquidity router module built on Axelar Network.
With Squid, Beamswap DEX users can enjoy easy swaps across various networks in a single transaction.

🟣 Lido Finance and MixBytes
To tap into deeper liquidity and expand the list of Beamswap Farm pairs, we were proud to announce our strategic collaboration with Lido on Polkadot by MixBytes.
MixBytes is one of the critical providers of state-of-the-art Web3 solutions, auditors of smart contracts, and Web3 technology advisors.
Lido on Polkadot is of strategic importance for Beamswap. As a cutting-edge liquid staking protocol, it sustains and expands the staking economy and empowers DeFi users to stake across various networks and ecosystems, including Polkadot and Moonbeam.

As new collaborations rolled in, new assets likewise made their way to Beamswap users — rewards included.
💰 xcUSDT — GLMR
Earlier in October, USDT, one of the most frequently used stablecoins, was upgraded to a native XCM version — the xcUSDT, making it ready to be used in the Polkadot ecosystem, including the Moonbeam network.
Beamswap was the first Moonbeam-based DEX to list Native USDT and include it in the Beamswap Yield Farm to bring staking rewards directly to our users.

The expansion of the partnership network and in-house development endeavors soon bore fruits.
We were thrilled to see a more than 10% increase in weekly TVL, reaching over $9M in TVL on Beamswap.
Considering the general crypto market sentiment, this figure means so much more and is a testimony of a loyal and growing user base.
We take great pride in seeing the DeFi community enjoy the Beamswap experience and expand the Moonbeam Network’s ecosystem through every interaction with the platform.

Better features and greater opportunities lead to higher numbers of users and more frequent interactions.
We’re excited that the Beamswap platform has hit over $400,000,000 in trading volume generated through nearly a million transactions.
DEXScreener, one of the top analysts of real-time DEX trends, even listed Beamswap as the leading Moonbeam-based DEX based on 24H volume. At one point, the Beamswap platform attracted over $1,200,000 of trading volume in a single day.

🟣 $GLINT growing TVL and number of holders
The Beamswap-native $GLINT token was no stranger to growth, either. The single-sided stake for $GLINT in $SHARE has reached over $1,000,000 in TVL on the Beamswap platform and continues to grow.
With over 9,500 holders, Beamswap’s $GLINT token is one of the top-held tokens on the Moonbeam Network, next to $wGLMR.

🟣 Polkassembly Grant Proposal
Aligned with our mission to become a user-oriented DEX, fully sustained by the community, and give more power to all DeFi-ers, we’ve submitted the Beamswap Grant Proposal to Polkassembly.
The Grant Proposal listed detailed plans to help facilitate the growth of the Moonbeam Network through user incentives to boost adoption. It also aimed to provide value to the greater ecosystem by attracting a larger user base, educating first adopters, and rolling out better, more engaging features for veteran users.

🟣 Beamswap Trading Competition
There’s a time to enjoy DeFi on your own and a time to compete with other DeFi-ers head-to-head. The Beamswap community got a chance to show their trading skills in the first-ever Beamswap Trading Competition.
Throughout the month, the trading competition brought together the best traders on the Moonbeam Network to compete for a chance to win a share of the prize pool.
Together, one hundred traders amassed nearly $1.9M in trading volume on Beamswap, with the top three participants generating over $200,000 combined.
