If you’re the type of person who needs to track the Mac apps and websites they use throughout the day, we have some good news for you. Timing for Mac now supports tracking your Bear usage, right down to individual notes.

For those who are not yet familiar, Timing is a great Mac app from Daniel Alm that automatically and privately tracks what you do on your Mac. It’s great for employees and freelancers who have to track or invoice for the time they spend on tasks. Timing is also great if you simply want to gain insight into how you actually spend your time and whether you’re scrolling Facebook too much throughout the day. Check out a demo video below to learn more.

Timing can ‘see’ the specific websites and apps you use. Thanks to the Timing support we added in Bear 1.6, Timing can see the titles of the notes you open, giving you even deeper insight into you work with Bear. Fortunately, Timing is private by default: your usage data is not sent or shared anywhere unless you export it or opt into a sync service.

If you’re curious about using Timing to track your work, grab a free demo at Timingapp.com.
