As Tiger Woods walked down hole 18 Sunday only needing a bogey to win the 2019 Masters and while hundreds of fans applauded his unimaginable success, goosebumps grew on millions of viewers. The same thing jumped in everyone’s mind:

This is actually it — Tiger’s first major championship victory since 2008. Few thought we would ever again get to see the American icon dawning his victory red and shouting as his name sat atop the leaderboard.

Tiger shocked the world once he sunk the bogey putt to claim a one-stroke win in arguably the most competitive Masters in tournament history. “The return to glory,” Jim Nantz exclaimed while his voice was masked by the shouts of elated fans (both at Augusta and even in people’s own living rooms). The roar of Tiger had returned.

Twitter erupted after the triumph, reminding emotional viewers it was okay to feel nostalgia for Tiger’s success.
