Posts need to be formatted like this one, as I want them to have the best chance of being curated and boosted, and this is what has been established here as the best practice.

Subheadings are not essential, but can be helpful to break up the text and make the reader experience a little easier.

Stories don’t have to have a neat happy ending, I’m all for complexity, but I don’t want to share doomy narratives either. Realness is good, but save your rant and resentment for your journal or if you’re lucky your sponsor/family/friends.
