Beaver Finance Weekly Report from December 20 to December 27, 2021

Welcome to the 2nd edition of our weekly newsletter series.

While the world is recovering from the Christmas fun, your team here at Beaver has been hard at work to deploy new integrations, reach new milestones and deliver a newsletter full of productive results.

Let’s dive in, shall we?

Backend

Beaver’s algorithms are the key innovations that drive single staking, token pairing, and dynamic asset allocation as well as reward distribution. Hence, keeping the underlying APY and good health and making constant updates on it has been one of the key tasks this week.

Smart Contracts

We have implemented the 5 layer logic relationships in smart contracts and fine-tuned the asset flow on the protocol. We have been working on the policy manager to ensure it performs optimally during reward calculation and distribution. Besides that, we implemented the trading pools and addressed logic around the hedging pool. And of course, a large chunk of the week was devoted to preparing the testnet version of Beaver for our community.

Testing

Coverage test, unit test, and functional test on the smart contract have been concluded.

Here’s some insight into the testing result:

• The coverage of self-developed smart contracts reached 100%
• There were no margins found for lint problem repair, there were no contract errors that needed deployment, and there were 0 warnings about the deployment contact error.
• All interface calls during the smart contract unit tests showed a 100% success rate, while the smart contract function test was also realized at a 100% success rate!
