Beaver Finance Weekly Report from January 1st, 2022 to January 7th, 2022.
Welcome to the 3rd edition of our weekly newsletter series.
We hope all our Beavers had an amazing start to 2022!
This week at Beaver Finance, things have started to get real. We have made some fantastic progress since the past week. As we are turning new chapters almost every week, the team is focused on bolstering an optimistic setting for the fast-approaching Mainnet launch.
Let’s dive in!
Smart Contract
Listing down the first task, we’ve adjusted the profit distribution ratio of different stable coins within the smart contract.
Moving on — we have deployed the smart contracts to the BSC testnet, which marks the third round of the testnet run. Following this, the hedging strategy on the Rinkeby Testnet will not be functional anymore since we have migrated the data to the BSC test network, so don’t forget to switch networks!
We have been adding finishing touches on the smart contracts and their ancillary functions to the fundamental components of the protocol.
UI/Frontend
We have fixed some of the UI’s typos and other wording-related errors. Additionally, we have integrated auto-connect when user’s click on the ‘Connet Wallet’ Button. However, a wrong network has been selected on the users MetaMask Wallet, a ‘Wrong Network’ prompt will pop up.
We have received so much love for the protocol’s design and navigation, which is welcoming, intuitive, and clean. Although we aim to constantly improve the UI, we appreciate your support and enthusiasm.
Testing
We have done multiple rounds of tests on different functionalities and addressed some bug fixes. While UI is a priority, security comes first and foremost. And continual testing is one of the most optimal channels of reinforcing the integrity of safety of open code.
Events
Q1 2022 Roadmap
Before ending 2021, we made sure our community knew what to expect in the immediate future for Beaver by releasing our roadmap for Q1 2022. And our Beavers who went through that roadmap would know that Beaver’s Mainnet and multi-chain deployment is coming very soon!

BSC Testnet Launch
10 days after the launch of Beaver on Rinkeby Testnet, we have now gone multi-chain with the testnet version of Beaver on the BSC tesnet. And again, as we mentioned before, the hedging function on the Rinkeby testnet version will cease to function.
