Beaxy’s platform differentiates itself by offering unmatched security, service, and superior tech. In order to take advantage of the full range of benefits, you will need to complete the Know Your Customer/Anti-Money Laundering application first.

To help streamline our KYC process and make it more secure, we have partnered with a company called Mati. If you would like to know more about their processes and security, you can find that information here.

Note: The launch of the exchange was the cut off date to pass KYC and claim any existing token balances that may have been earned through airdrops or bounty rewards. Any accounts that did not do so forfeit any tokens that they had accrued and will need to register for the exchange again.

If you haven’t already, you will need to create an account.

After you’ve completed the Registration process, new users will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the confirmation email to verify your account. This link expires in 48 hours.

Next, log in to your account and find the KYC button listed in the user drop down menu.

This will bring you to the KYC page. From here you can begin the KYC process by clicking the Mati “Verify me” button.

Select your language:

Mati may request to use your camera in order to take a photo for KYC. You may need to give your browser permission to open the camera.

Then select which document you want to use to verify your identity. You may use a Driving License, a National ID, or a Passport.

NOTE: Due to state-specific laws, users in the United States of America cannot use a passport for verification. Please complete verification with a valid driver’s license or state ID.

Next you will select the country that your document was issued in.

Next upload your document. Driving License and National ID will require both sides to be uploaded. You may also use the “Take pictures with Smartphone” feature. Click the link at the bottom of the panel on this step to receive further instructions via email for how to do proceed using your smartphone.

The next step requires you to use your camera to take a short video for additional security purposes.

Next you will be asked to confirm that you followed the directions properly. It is important to remember that you need to make 2 circles with your head, each rotation lasting about 3 seconds long. Mati’s AI will analyze the video immediately after to see if there are any issues with your submission.

Once you complete the face challenge you have finished KYC!

Please be sure to take a clear photo of your ID document. Unclear photos will also result in a delayed review of your application. We suggest taking a picture with PhotoScan by Google Photos (iOS, Android) or Office Lens by Microsoft (iOS, Android) as these applications are better suited to produce clear results when capturing documents.

After submitting the required information, you will see the icon next to your name change to “Under Review”. At this point, you have finished the KYC application. You will be notified of the results once it has been processed.

Additional Tips
To give yourself the best chance of having a seamless KYC experience, please make sure that your photos and videos follow these guidelines:

  • Don’t make them too bright or too dark
  • Avoid uneven lighting (i.e. half of your face has light on it)
  • Shouldn’t be too close (we should see the whole face but it should not be too far)
  • Head rotations shouldn’t be done too fast. 3 seconds per circle. 2 circles.
  • Rotate your head not the phone
  • Take off your hat and glasses :)

As always, thank you for being a part of the Beaxy community!

Sincerely,
The Beaxy Team
