Let the Festivals Begin!

Coachella

Coachella is a popular festival held in Indio, CA, where numerous of musical artists and celebrities come out to perform. This year’s artist to attend are: Elle Goulding, Ice Cube, Sia, Major Lazer, Calvin Harris, just to name a few, but you never know who they are going to bring out with them.

I have always wanted to attend Coachella and this year was supposed to be the year for me to do so, but I would have enjoyed the concerts and food. Coachella is where you can have fun and see celebrities, but to get into the festival tickets are $375 and Car and Tent C amping is $99. The event is very pricey, but it is worth it to see the performances and to have fun.

Atlanta Dogwood Festival

This year’s Atlanta Dogwood Festival is held at Piedmont Park. It is a free event, opened to the public and will display art, musical artists, food, and different events such as the Mimosa 5k, Backyard Barbecues and Brews, Family Friday, and VIP Party. There are a lot of Jazz, Rock, and Blues musical artists performing on the main stage. This festival has been around for a while and many people enjoy going. It is a great festival for everyone including children they have their own section.

Festival season is a great time to go out and enjoy the atmosphere and being surrounded by fun activities. If you chose to go to either festival or any in general take the time out and enjoy it.
