First of all, as I write these words, I must say that I am on the 14th day of my 30-day process, but do not worry. When you reach the end of this article I will have completed my 30-day process. Well, How can I see the future? In fact, I can’t see the future; I only know how to handle my brain.

If you can “convince” your brain, it is very easy to break or form a habit. That’s all I did. I conditioned my brain to work every morning for 30 days and didn’t even consider the possibility of my brain compromising.

After persuading my brain, I began. First of all, one day before the run, I decided what clothes I would wear for the morning run because if entry the habit into thinking your mind slow down and give birth possibility of compromise.

All was ready. All I had to do was wake up in the morning, put on the clothes I had chosen, go for a run, and continue this for 30 days. I began the process, and as the days passed, I continued to run every morning. By the way my departure time was always 7 am. I can only remember getting up at 7:30 am one or two days. I was going through the process, but my school was about to start and the first class started at 8:30.

Most people think: ”My lessons start early, I should probably run in the evening.”

Most people don’t think: My lessons start early, then I will wake up earlier than my normal wake-up time and do my morning run.”

I made a plan and conditioned my brain as I mentioned at the beginning. The thing to do was simple: Instead of waking up at 7 o’clock, we would wake up at 6.30 and do a morning run. My plan worked very well and I continued my running process. By the way, I have to say that even as I write these words, I still haven’t completed my process. Do not worry. Lets continue.

A question you might be thinking: “But wasn’t there ever a time when you didn’t want to leave, when you wanted to stay in your cozy bed? How did you deal with this reluctance?”

In the process, I had a brain conditioned to get up at 7 a.m. and go for a run. The steps are clear: Get out of bed — get dressed — go out — go for a run. My brain didn’t think about anything else. The temperature of the bed? No. The coldness? No. Get up and do it. It’s as simple as that.

And at the end of this whole process, I successfully completed my 30 days of running.

Is it over? No.

How Do I Take a Cold Shower?

After the run I would come home and take a cold shower.

I am not going to tell you how to take a cold shower for paragraphs here. I want to tell you about this job in the shortest and ost concise way.

First of all, turn the water directly to the cold setting. Stand next to the water and breathe deeply. Then make a promise to yourself: “Now I will count backwards from 3 and when I count 0 I will go under the water.” Don’t wait until you feel ready to start the counter. Because you will never feel ready. Start the counter at once. Don’t wait 10 seconds from 3 to 2 and pay attention to the time between seconds. When you say 0, put your whole body under the water. After the cold water has soaked the whole body, your job is very easy. After that, that shower will be very comfortable for you.

I have explained this method to many people so far and the biggest point that people get stuck on is that they cannot go under the water even if they count the counter. Of course, you may experience this, but be careful not to experience it and finish the job on the first counter.

So, should we do this at the beginning of every cold shower? It’s up to you. You can go directly under the cold water or you can use the counter method. Keep in mind that I’ve been taking cold showers for over a year and I still feel the same stress every time I take a cold shower as I did before I got in the water. You should get used to it. But don’t worry. Gradually this will become more doable and will no longer be a problem.

How Do I Make My Bed Every Morning?

It has been more than 1.5 years since I established the habit of making the bed. For 1.5 years I have been making my bed every morning without interruption, but how? When I first started this process, I remember showing little willpower to make my bed. I faced many negative emotions such as not wanting to make it, procrastinating, etc., but despite all these emotions, that bed was going to be made. There was no second option. After a certain period of time, I started to make my bed without any willpower, without the slightest negative emotion. It was like my brain was working separately from me and directing my actions. Now I make my bed in a completely automatic mode: wake up — get out of bed — wash your face — make your bed. This is my brain’s processing mechanism every morning and this is its natural cycle. For my brain, the act of making the bed is as natural as walking.

Of course, at that time, I had not yet internalized the concept of “brain conditioning.” With brain conditioning, you can “very easily” create the habit of making the bed.

Yes, this is the end of the story and I hope this story has inspired you and shed light on your life.

STAY HARD.
