1. Know Your Goals, Organize Them By Their Values and Priorities

How many goals do you have?
If you don’t have any, create at least one goal today.
Goals are very important for effective time management.
Maybe you have too many goals.
If so, edit them.
You need a goal for every area of your life.
For example, one goal for your job, another for your health, and another for managing your finances.

2. Focus And Work On Just One Task

You have set many goals.
But you may not be able to achieve a goal in a short time.
You can only do the things that will help you reach your goal.
Decide on your most valuable goal and work on something important to that goal today.
That is, determine the tasks to be done for your goals.

If you can, work on this before doing anything else.
Let’s imagine that your most valuable goal today is the improvement of your health.
Your most important job is to exercise.
Do this early.
Many gyms open early so you can exercise before you go to work.

3. Remember Your Highest Priority

Prioritize your workday before you leave the house in the morning.

Your to-do list can be endless.

Choose your five most important tasks for the day, prioritize them, and work on them in order of priority.

If you’re not sure what to work on, ask yourself what your highest priority is right now.

It’s rare that your top priority is “checking Facebook”.

4. Set a Money Value for Your Time

If you know how much an hour is worth, you can make time management easier.

If 1 hour is worth $40, remember that 30 minutes spent on Facebook is worth $20.

If you’re not sure how much time you have, guess or ask your boss. Or divide your monthly salary by an average of 200.

If you’re your own boss, you already know how much it costs.

Keep a diary to know where your time is going.
Then quit useless activities.

5. Nothing is Perfect, Just Do It

You want to do your best, but perfectionism wastes your time.

Nothing is perfect.

If you are prone to perfectionism, be aware of this and force yourself to let things happen.
