Don’t Ask “Why,” Ask, “How” and “What”

Focus on solutions

Don’t Ask “Why;” Ask, “How” and “What” Focus on solutions

When things aren’t going the way we want, we often focus on why. However, knowing the reason doesn’t always make us more resourceful. Kids do this when they can’t get what they want. “Why can’t I [stay out past curfew, go to the concert, and so on]. ” It becomes a constant refrain that often doesn’t result in their getting what they want.
