Fieldfare Birds in Siberia in Winter
This last Saturday, 9 December 2017, we noticed several hundred new birds had arrived in the trees around our house, Fieldfare Birds.
Well if that doesn’t say that something is about ready to happen, then I don’t know what does.
Fieldfare birds are strongly migratory, with many northern birds moving south during the winter. Quote from Wikipedia.
“Moving south during the winter”, they don’t even show up here in the summer.
This winter has been unusually warm for us by plus 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.
This fall we also had a new bird in the area the “Eurasian Nuthatch” bird, far out, a visitor from southeast Asia.
What do you guys think the future brings, Siberia soon the new subtropics and you’ll be the new polar region? That’ll be cool.
