How To Stake In The Beefy.Finance Governance Distribution.
And start receiving $BIFI
🐄 First of all, welcome! We´re excited to be launching! 🐄
The contract will open for staking September 22nd at 4pm GMT. Don´t try to stake before because your transactions will be cancelled!
In order to stake, you need to have your tokens ready on your Metamask wallet, which needs to be connected to the Binance Smart Chain. For this we wrote this tutorial, please follow that first if you haven´t already.
First we´ll go to beefy.finance and click on the button pointed in the image.
This will take us to gov.beefy.finance where we first need to connect our Metamask wallet. Click on the ´Connect´ button. This will open your wallet and ask permission to link to our site. Remember that in Metamask, you need to have the Binance Smart Chain network selected.
Ok, and now.. we´re in! You can see the different pools where you can stake each token. Depending what pool you want to participate in, click ´Open´. We´ll show the process with $CREAM.
Here you can see the actions we can take. We´re going to click ´Stake Tokens´
And then pick the amount that we wish to stake. Depending on the balance we have.
Once you click on´Stake´, you´ll see a Metamask pop up appear and ask to sign the transaction, make sure the gas price is between 20 and 50 which is needed to get it approved. Once this is done, you´re ready! If you sign the transaction but you don´t see the tokens reflected in the top box, click back, and they´ll appear.
Ok so now you´re staking your tokens and earning $BIFI !!! if you wish to stop at any point, you have different options:
- The ´Claim Reward´ button will send to your wallet your $BIFI winnings but keep staking your tokens.
- The ´Unstake tokens´ will just Unstake your tokens, but not claim your $BIFI
- And the last, as the name suggest ´Claim and Unstake´ does both actions
