65 Percent of Utah GOP Legislators Get Fs or Ds From Advocacy Organization

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Alliance for a Better Utah, a left-leaning advocacy organization, gave 65% of Utah Republican lawmakers Fs or Ds based on their votes on 51 bills in the 2022 Utah legislative session. The nonprofit’s fifth annual “progress report” has one-quarter of GOP members of the Utah legislature with Fs. Five got negative scores.

Besides receiving one overall grade, all 104 lawmakers, both Republican and Democratic, except for one got grades in each of Better Utah’s four priority issue areas…
