A VR Film is Being Made Regarding a Savannah Coming Out to Her Latter-day Saint (ex-Mormon) Congregation Before Being Cut Off. Only Two Utah Media Outlets Appear to Have Initially Reported Her News — After National & International Coverage.
More media is on Savannah’s coming out as lesbian to her Latter-day Saint (ex-Mormon) congregation — as a film, and as an exciting new type of film. The virtual reality work “Hi, my name is Savannah,” is in post-production, the third of three phases of making a film. Before her microphone was cut, a 12-year-old Savannah came out as lesbian just more than two years ago to a Utah congregation in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which opposes homosexuality. The headquarters of the church is in Utah.
Also in Utah, only two media outlets appear to have initially reported it after national media did, according to a Beehive Blunders review.
In “Savannah,” Savannah is able to finish her testimony using virtual reality technology. (VR is alternative interactions with your surroundings, and some believe the automation will become the new normal in filmmaking and filmgoing.)
