Utah Legislators Want to Rewrite a Proposition Utah Voters Just Passed Into Law. After Just Doing the Same Thing With Another Statute.

Asking questions like “Why wouldn’t we want to help neighbors in need?”, healthcare advocate Karina Andelin Brown said, 113,242 often-Republican Utahns signed to put a Medicaid-expansion measure on the Utah ballot this past November, and 53 percent of voters in the state voted for Proposition 3, making it law in the Beehive State. Of course, that election cycle ended just three months ago.
