With more than 86% of Provo residents voting to re-elect him, it can be argued John Curtis is the most popular politician in the state of Utah. As Provo was celebrating its 167th birthday, Clint talked to Mayor Curtis about Provo’s reputation as a startup hub and all sorts of other things.
Mayor Curtis attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Business Management. He worked for OC Tanner and the Citizen Watch Company before taking a position as the COO of a Provo-based company, Action Target in 2000.
