Justin Butterworth sold his company Rentahome for $29M, took the afternoon off and then got back to work on the next big idea. In episode #5 of Beer with an Entrepreneur — we meet him.

Justin founded rentahome, a holiday rental marketplace, in 1999. In 2011, the business was sold to Stayz (Fairfax, ASX) for $29 million. Today, Justin is working to revolutionise the home rental market and property investing as a whole.

In this episode of Beer with an Entrepreneur, Justin talks about the emotional turmoil of an exit, his strategies to double down during crisis (and become an even better business as competitors fall) — and what he’s looking for as he invests in start-ups himself.
