What do we refer to when we talk about the human dimension? How do we enhance genuine exchange and collaboration among the company members? These questions revolve around our daily work life and constant challenges in the Talent Management Team (TMT).

Moreover, in recent years, there has been a significant area of interest for those who work in Talent Management: #HumanSkills. What encompasses these skills? How do they manifest? And how can we discern their presence?

The human dimension in TMT refers to the recognition and consideration of the unique characteristics, needs, and potential of individuals. It emphasizes that employees are not just resources or assets, but complex individuals with diverse skills, experiences, and aspirations.

These skills originate from the emotional side of individuals. They encompass a combination of social skills, communication abilities, personality traits, empathy, willingness to learn, and leadership qualities, among others. Let’s ask ourselves another question… Are these skills valued within companies? We are likely to encounter different points of view. Still, at BeeReal’s Talent Management Team (TMT) we strongly believe in appreciating these unique characteristics, to create a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, fosters employee engagement, and promotes the development of individuals.

Working with people is quite a challenge, which is why a company must have an updated TMT. Nowadays, the role of companies in the talent area has transcended beyond hiring strategies and recruitment processes. It now encompasses the evaluation of individual capabilities, facilitating the formation of work teams that cultivate a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

In addition, these human skills allow us to understand the work environment, aim for a conflict-free workspace, and integrate suitable work teams. Therefore, valuing the human skills of each individual will always lead to better personal and professional development, as well as effective teamwork.

As a strategy to deeply get to know our team members, we implement diverse recreational activities whenever a new member joins our organization. Through engaging games and interactive exercises, we have successfully discerned varying levels of extroversion or introversion among individuals.

This approach has facilitated a deeper acquaintance with each person, enabling us to recognize and value their personality beyond their technical prowess in their specific area of expertise. Identifying these individual attributes facilitates a more seamless integration into distinct projects or collaboration with diverse team members.

A frequently quoted phrase in the education field is “learning to learn”, which refers to the ability to initiate, organize, and sustain one’s learning. Our Talent Management Team (TMT) is prepared for such learning, to be innovative, and to progress in this new knowledge-based society. We are ready to embrace and accept this paradigm shift, where the management of human resources has become indispensable for any company in the technology sector.
