Appreciations are a way to send genuine kudos to another creative professional on Behance. This is our community’s way of curating the network, so that the best projects gain the most exposure. Here’s a look at two of the most appreciated projects on Behance this month:

Charles Darwin

As an homage to old video games and the greatest scientists in history, the team at Superinteressante Magazine in Brazil has developed a game called Science Kombat. Diego Sanches, art and animations designer on the project, has brought a number of scientists we all know and love, back to life! Among the many are Charles Darwin and Albert Einstein — check out their unique combat moves here!

Spotlight

In honor of the 88th Academy Awards, Levente Szabó was asked to create a series of posters for The British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Szabó illustrated five posters depicting the nominees in the Best Film Category. His expert skills on Adobe Photoshop goes to show that a movie’s visual identity can be developed using various brushes and many layers! Check out the other nominees here!
