Looking for more posts on creativity by Behance? We’ve moved our blog over to behance.net/blog.

At Behance, our mission has always been to help the creative world showcase and discover inspiring, fresh creative work everyday. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, we’re here to serve up great projects made by our talented members from around the world.

Today, we re-launched our Curated Galleries section with a brand-new design and functionality to make discovery more powerful than ever. The twelve Curated Galleries include work from categories, like Graphic Design or Motion, but can be easily refined into sub-categories like Typography or Packaging Design. The best part? Everything is hand-picked by our Curation Team.

Prior to this redesign, Behance powered several sister sites called Served Sites. These sites were dedicated to particular creative fields like Typography or Industrial Design, but were displayed outside of Behance on their own URLS. Being featured on a “Served Site” was a fantastic opportunity, but didn’t offer the full discovery and community aspects of Behance.

Now that we’ve integrated our Curated Galleries more closely within Behance, Featured Projects can easily be found, followed, and shared in a single place. Plus, a Gallery can be followed by a Behance member in a single click, so any new featured work in a Gallery will also appear in the member’s Activity Feed. We plan on adding more categories and sub-categories as we see trends emerge to continue to open up more opportunities to a wider group of Behance members.
