It’s Finally Time to S.E.E. 👁 👁

Tired of your great stories going unread? We can fix that.

Hey storytellers.

Stories are a great way to engage with your audience.

But it’s hard to get their attention.

Try this technique…

S.E.E. MORE

Scroll-stopper — Think of it as your headline. It needs to be strong enough to stop the scroll and cut through the noise.

Empathy — Something related to the scroll-stopper that shows the reader you get them.

Enticement — This is your cliff-hanger and makes them want to read MORE.

Here’s a great example from Keyur Kumbhare:

S: Starting young is great.
E: But it can be scary and confusing.
E: These things make it easy 👇

You then read on for MORE.

Here’s another great example from Jennifer Welsh:

S: Planning to invest in the stock market “someday”?
E: When there’s money to set aside [and] the timing is right.
E: Well I’ll tell you something.

You then read on for MORE.

You also might have noticed one at the top of this email:

S: Stories are a great way to engage with your audience.
E: But it’s hard to get their attention.
E: Try this technique…

You then (hopefully) read on for MORE.

Whether a social media post, blog post, article, or sales/marketing stories, use the S.E.E. MORE technique to grab your audience’s attention and make them want to see more.

Credit to Keyur (mentioned above) for giving me the idea to use an empathetic second line. It really rounds out the technique.

Thanks for reading.
