The event will kick off with a welcome talk from Jane Barrett, global editor of media news strategy at Thomson Reuters.

This will be followed by a programme of sessions including a keynote from Vincent Ryan, EMEA partnerships manager at Google News Labs, which works with journalists to fight misinformation, strengthen diversity and support learning and development through digital transformation.

“At the NCTJ, we are working with our partners on what AI means for journalism education and skills, including how we protect the integrity of our assessments and ensure our qualifications and training keep up with the speed of change.

“By bringing the industry together for this event, we can empower journalists to reach their potential in our digital age.”
