We are only a few weeks away from the second London’s Calling — 10th February 2017. London’s Calling 2017 will again be hosted at the Skills Matter Codenode. This venue was perfect last year and I am told this year there is even more space!

If you have not heard of London’s Calling or any of the similar community-led events they tend to be one-day conferences where you can learn, geek-out and “network” (have chat with) hundreds of people working in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Full House for Peter Coffee’s futuristic keynote at London’s Calling 2016

There are going to be two keynote speakers at London’s Calling this year. The first is Peter Coffee, VP Strategic Research, at Salesforce.com. Everytime Peter speaks he makes it feel like he is connecting the dots and predicting the future.

The second keynote speaker was just announced and is someone outside of the Salesforce ecosystem. Belinda Palmer OBE. OBE! OBE stands for “Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire”. Now thats is impressive! An OBE is a Queen’s honour given to an individual for a major role in an activity such as business, charity or the public sector. Belinda is the founder and CEO of The Empathy Business, the company behind the world’s first Empathy Index. The Empathy Index is supported by The World Economic Forum. This is bound to be a really interesting keynote with content far reaching beyond the usual Salesforce echo chamber.

The first year of London’s Calling was a great day with “Dreamforce quality” sessions delivered by the community to the community. This time around there are even more sessions and they look killer! Especially this one by Dave Carroll which seems to be answering everyones questions about Einstein “Artificial Intelligence for the Enterprise — Is this stuff real?”.

Last year Taskfeed were Gold sponsors and we had a great time talking with everyone — this year we are Platinum sponsors. This means we get to rock the DemoJam! A DemoJam is where a number of people have 3-minutes to demo their product to you, then you vote for the winner.

So do yourself a favour. Get the day off, or book yourself off that project, or just plan to call in sick on 10th February and join us at London’s Calling.

To celebrate Taskfeed being Platinum sponsors we are giving away two tickets. Follow this link and complete the form to win one of the two FREE tickets.

Taskfeed is a Platinum sponsor of London’s Calling. Community events like this could not be possible without the support from sponsors. This is a great opportunity to speak directly with the community and I am personally very excited to help and be a part of a great event.
