Hydra:

George Johnston (author of My Brother Jack) and famed journalist Charmian Clift left scandal behind them in post-World War II Australia to start a new life on the Greek island of Hydra. But they discover that living in paradise comes at a cost. Vast, sweeping and beautiful, Sue Smith’s latest play brings two extraordinary literary lives to the stage.

This is large-scale, heartfelt storytelling that will transport you to a stunning new world.

End of the Rainbow:

In 1969, Judy Garland checked into The Ritz Hotel in London. As the pressures of fame bear down harder than ever, her world slowly begins to fall apart. Musical theatre icon Helen Dallimore (Wicked) works with a stellar cast to tear down the bright lights of Hollywood myth to reveal a tragic tale of passion and manipulation.

A View from the Bridge:

Arthur Miller’s timeless drama thunders onto the playhouse stage. In 1950s Brooklyn, Eddie Carbone welcomes two Italian migrants into his home and his delicate web of family, culture and community slowly begin to unravel. A classic piece of theatre that remains as devastating and brilliant as it ever was.

This is one of the greatest works of modern drama brought to the stage by a group of artists at the top of their game.

Jasper Jones:

Craig Silvey’s beloved tale of two teenagers solving a mystery in a small country town comes to the Adelaide stage after sell-out seasons around the country. This is a wild, white-knuckled mystery that touches on some of the deepest wounds in our nation’s history. Tender, funny and profound, this is storytelling that glimmers with the power of the human spirit.
