What are we?
“Being a Fangirl” Is a publication created for Fandom nerds by a fandom nerd. (It's not only for girls, Your editor-in-crime just adores the title).
Our main focus is to share our interests across the different fandoms, and stories we heard, read, and binged that imprinted on us forever.
To tell the world, to shout it from the rooftop, there is indeed some good that can come out of being a fanatic and how it is inspiring and transforming lives all over.
How can you be a part?
Do you want to be part of our Publication? Good news we are accepting submissions for new writers.
If you are interested in being part of this publication and writing for us, just comment below “I am interested”.
Your submission will be viewed and you’ll be added as a Writer within 3 days maximum.
What do we focus on?
- You can submit your fandom-related stories, reviews, and inspirational pieces to our publication. Sorry fanfictions are not accepted at the moment.
- If you have listicles on the recommendation of Movies/Shows/Books or book quotes. they will be accepted also.
- I’ll do you one better, Let’s just say you want to list the most iconic TV Duos of the last decade and do a post-mortem on the character arc of your antagonist turned Hero you can do that too.
- We have an open-door policy for everything Fandom :)
Content Guidelines
- A story with a suitable Title and a Subtitle. We frown upon clickbait titles.
- Images and GIFs with respective attributions. (ALT texts are recommended)
- Use apps like Grammarly or Hemingway Editor to check your work for grammar errors, then submit your polished work.
- I am a big fan of the MLK phrase Hate cannot drive out hate only love can. They say the pen is mightier than the sword. If we find your content to be pointed towards or hurting for a particular people we don’t accept them here.
Submission guidelines
- You can only submit the stories that are already published under your profile (we are not accepting drafts at the moment ).
- Once you are established as a writer, go to your published story click the add to the publication option, and choose Being a Fangirl to submit your stories here.
- Give us 3 days to review, and edit (for any spelling or grammatical errors) then we’ll publish them.
- In case your story is not published after a week feel free to submit it elsewhere. Please note you are not a bad writer, it’s just it doesn’t fit the ship we run here. Best of luck out there!
