Sensing Gratitude

Poetry Prompt: Gratitude and presence

Photo by Clint McKoy on Unsplash

grateful for
softly scented moisturizer that makes my hands soft
my sturdy desk lamp to illuminate all my nighttime reading
the coffee mug I use to hold all 300 of my lost hair ties in one place
my table tangerine for nourishing me
my journal, for being a place of refuge for my thoughts,
all sights within my current realm.

Authentically sharing stories and poems from the heart about our experience of being human and our ongoing process of becoming perfectly imperfect. Writing mostly real and raw with a sprinkle of microfiction!
