Nature’s gates parting
Into tender renewal
My soul elated.

The above is a lipogrammatic haiku, in which the writer chooses a prompt word (springtime) and uses only the letters of that word to write a freeform haiku. Thank you JD Greyson for the inspiration and invitation on your Twitter challenge a few weeks back.
