Marcus Aurelius’ principles to overcome fear
New things are scary. What others may think of us is scary? According to Marcus Aurelius this may be a sign for weakness. Marcus Aurelius , is a well-known philosopher, who was preaching in his book “Meditations,” on how to stay strong, live a peaceful life, and be bold.
The Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, in his book “Meditations,” wrote of five principles that will help us grow stronger in our courage [1]. Here are the five principles:
1. Seek Solutions, not people to blame
It is easy to blame others when things go wrong. But this won’t help you solve the problem. Instead, try and find a solution. This may be difficult, but it is the only way to make things better.
