Being Publication Now Has an Official ISSN
ISSN: A Milestone in Our Journey
To all readers, followers, and fellow writers, I am announcing that our Being publication has accomplished a very important milestone in its journey. I am happy that we officially been registered in the U.S. Library of Congress ISSN base and have our own ISSN number as follow: 3066–9014.
I know some of you might ask: What is an ISSN and Why Does it Matter?
Well, I would say think of it as an ID number, but for publications. ISSN is short for International Standard Serial Number. It is an eight digit code used to identify our publication in the global network of magazines, journals, and online publications.
Getting an ISSN is not only a serial number to put on our publication. It is more important than that. It is like getting a stamp that says, “Yes, this is a real, credible, and a valid publication that meets international standards.”

When I began Being, my mind was filled with ideas, thoughts, and pictures in terms of what we might become, do, or who to impact. I dreamed of making it a place where writers had space to not only be heard, but to be guided, helped…
