My Friends Got Married Most Simply: Here’s What I Learned

"It’s a shame to host a simple wedding."

This is how many people see it.

A lot of people believe that the authenticity of a wedding is determined by how much money you put into the ceremony.
And this notion has put many couples in trouble.

They feel like if they don’t throw a big party for their wedding, it’s not a wedding.
What an illusion and myth.

Our society today has programmed us to follow certain norms that are not worth it, causing devastation and making people deviate from the real deal.

Two of my friends, Mathias and Gina, got married recently, and the wedding was concluded in the simplest way.

There will be no extremely fancy outfits, huge gatherings, or receptions. Only a few people can do this.

I can’t remember the last time I attended or experienced such a wedding.
It’s so inspiring.

Anyway, here are a few things that I learned:

Cutting Your Coat According to Your Size

Mathias and Gina are very good friends of mine. We’ve known each other quite a long time now. Mathias was once the president of the Legion of Mary, an association in the Catholic Church.

Along the line, I got to know Gina through him. I’ve lived with Mathias and know who he is to some extent. He is reserved, hates wasting time on matters, and doesn’t like stress of any kind.

He loves living a simple life. Perhaps everyone needs to enjoy life. What more would you like to know about Matty?

Oh, he’s a sports lover, a profound football spectator, and a passionate fan of FC Barcelona.

Lol… I hope I’m not writing out of context. However, I just want you to know this about him.

So back to the main gist!
