Let’s get right to the news:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced that it is banning the use of Red №3, a synthetic dye that gives many foods and drinks their bright red color.

Alas, the dye is associated with cancer in animals.

I’m a cancer doctor, so you can imagine that the red dye headlines caught my eye.

Let’s get into it.

Did you know red dye #3 is still in thousands of foods?

Candy.

Cereals.
