Beirut AI Community Recap: September 2019

After the hit bootcamp experience our wonderful team curated, we believe they earned some time to wind down. After all we believe that a well rested team is one that can deliver incredible quality content. So, this month’s recap is short and sweet. But, despite the rest, for this month we provided a hands-on workshop in collaboration with GDG Coast Lebanon but stay tuned for all our events happening in October!

Deep Learning Workshop in Collaboration with GDG Coast Lebanon

This month we collaborated with GDG Coast Lebanon to provide the Lebanese developer community with an introductory workshop to Deep Learning with Tensorflow. We were ecstatic to see the interest in this workshop. Christophe Zoghbi, the founder of Beirut AI, walked the 60+ participants through the theory of neural networks all the way to the hands on application using Tensorflow. We loved the enthusiasm and engagement!

The University Education Program

Last year we landed in as many Lebanese universities as we can with our Introduction to AI workshop. As part of our efforts to reach as much of the Lebanese youth as we can, we are kicking off a fully-fledged university education program. We’ll help you design an AI curriculum of workshops, talks, Datathons, and more to pack into your academic year calendars!
