Another month means another list of exciting AI initiatives held at the Beirut AI Community!
MENA AI Festival
The Global AI Festival organized by City AI aims to bring together multi-national experts as well as beginners in the Artificial Intelligence industry, and gives them the opportunity to build connections, initiate discussions, and participate in hands-on workshops to get a better understanding of how AI and its subdomains are being implemented in different cities and sectors of the world.
Representative speakers from all over the Middle East and North African region made the MENA AI Festival possible, on November 26 & 27, by providing insights on cross-sections between AI and education, healthcare, agriculture and many more, across the MENA region.

Community Workshops
As part of our community efforts to ensure that AI enthusiasts, across all regions of Lebanon, receive the necessary skills and knowledge to embark on their journeys into the AI field, we host our Introduction to Artificial Intelligence workshop to different communities and universities, upon request.
During November, two workshops were held. Our first workshop was for Phoenicia University’s Mechanical Engineering students, and the second workshop was with the International Journal for Clinical Research (IJCR).
Ala’a Fawaz told us: “It was a very interesting session; I’ve gained a great deal of joyful information not only regarding my career but also in several other fields. Looking forward to more events🙌”

Tuesdays with Beirut AI
And of course, last but definitely not least: Tuesdays with Beirut AI! Another networking session was held with the Beirut AI members this November to introduce AI enthusiasts to each other and to help them meet experts who are ready to answer all their questions. Nothing but smiles in our community gatherings!
