I am studying hairdressing at the Mouvement Social centre. I want to be a barber.

I go to the hairdressing class three days a week and I’ll finish in two months. We’re now learning make-up. In hairdressing we’ve learned colouring, and straightening and blow-drying. And how to cut hair of course.

Then hopefully I’ll get a job. I’m looking already but there are no vacancies.

It’s very hard to find a job in Lebanon.

Christian Aid partner Mouvement Social is giving Ali and children like him access to recreational, educational and psychological support. To donate to our Syria Crisis Appeal and to support vital work like this, please visit our website.

I’m 16. I love photography and life. I like to learn new things. I would like to become a hairdresser. I wish all the problems in my country Lebanon would stop.
