BeLive Year in Review
This past year has been a major growing experience for BeLive.tv, and we are very excited about it! Many new opportunities have become available to our community and we are very proud of the work we have accomplished, as we want to share it with you all.
We started off the year strong with lots of positive feedback from our users after only being in operation since October 2016. We started having our BeLive Weekly Shows with Jeff Adams in November of 2016. This was such a hit and led to other users becoming weekly show hosts. Joel Comm began his weekly shows in February, Rachel Moore began her shows in April, and Molly Mahoney started her shows in May. While Jeff and Joel discuss a variety of topics, Rachel focuses on the business world while Molly gives tips on how to become the best kind of live streamer. As the year went on, Rachel picked up a new co-host, Ross Brand! Ross and Rachel’s first show together went live on September 19th. It was an immediate success and they continue to stream together every Tuesday covering some exciting and interesting topics.
June 19th 2017 was a highly exciting and historic day, as we launched our paid plans (all with a 14 day free trial https://belive.tv/packages) and introduced some new features. We have maintained our commitment to provide the platform free of charge (with some limitations), so that users can experience how easy it is to start a livestream on Facebook using BeLive. The new features, such as screen sharing, photo sharing, custom logos and frames, and the new format containing so many awesome abilities, talk show format, were all specific requests from our community. We wanted to make sure that our users were happy and felt like they had a say in helping us grow on what we started in a positive and efficient way.
BeLive celebrated our first birthday in the month of October with a 15 hour long live broadcast with 80K views! We featured 50 different hosts from all over the world and called on our loyal and amazing community to help choose the content and subjects and take an active part in the preparation. Each host ran their own 10 minute segment, creating a fast-paced, yet efficient way to keep interested. Below are the links to the 4-part Birthday Broadcast!
As we start to wrap up 2017, we wanted to pause and reflect on everything we have achieved this year and share some of our plans for 2018 with you. 2017 was a blast, and it’s all thanks to each and every one of you! After a year running our free Beta, in July we started offering paid subscriptions and the response was explosive!! Our community of BeLiver’s is vibrant with 4000+ community members who actively and passionately help and support each other. We have already enabled 200,000 live broadcasts so far, and that number only keeps going up. 2018 is going to be even bigger and better, as we expand with new features, new team members, and many more users, and we look forward to making BeLive grow into its full potential!
