  • In Hubs, you can link to external web pages through link and image components, but this can detract from the user experience on the platform.
  • XRCLOUD’s Spoke offers an Inline View component that allows you to view web pages without leaving the Room.

  • There are four supported ways to display the page.
Four Options of the Inline View
  • Main: The page is loaded into the 3D space as an iframe.

  • To allow iframes on external web pages, the external page must enable CORS for XRCLOUD’s Room URL (room.xrcloud.app) for proper loading.

  • Side View: The page is loaded into the chat area as an iframe.
  • This is particularly useful for mobile-friendly pages with a vertically long window, while keeping the 3D space intact.
Timetable Page Displayed in Side View
  • Self Window: The entire page is redirected, causing you to leave the Room.
  • New Window: The Room remains intact while the page is opened in a new tab. The browser’s pop-up blocker must be disabled.
