Worlds collide! To Sara and I, this is one special pic. Our four siblings (or soon to be siblings) all sat together in Örebro.

We are both still pinching ourselves that Casey, Kristen, Sophie and Jonny have all coordinated taking time off work and flying in from Leeds and Chicago to come and hang out with us in our little Swedish lives for a while.

It’s the first time we’ve all been together in the same place. 3 Wisconsinites, 2 Poyntonions and a Nottingham lad converging in the heartland of Sweden. And somehow, it’s this adventure in the wide world of football that’s to thank. That and the willingness of our legendary siblings!

Another great day today exploring Örebro, hiding out from the pouring rain and chomping on delightful Swedish meatballs. With much more fun and games to come too — including a special BK Forward home match this Saturday with family members in the stands!

Big shoutout to Dad who unbelievably turned 60 today! He celebrated with us on FaceTime, resulting in Dad shadow boxing towards the camera in his new birthday robe. Age is just a number! Happy birthday mate!

See you tomorrow. Cheers!
